What we’re looking for:

Vacasa seeks a Marketing Analytics Manager who is passionate about data and curious about what makes sales and marketing work. The ideal candidate has marketing analytics expertise, a track record of delivering results, proven project management experience, and a history of managing a team to own and execute strategic, cross-functional initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Incorporate multiple data sources and methodologies to find opportunities to drive growth efficiency. Experience with marketing attribution, budgeting, sales and marketing conversion metrics and A/B testing is a must.
  • Marketing Analytics Subject Matter Expert: Additional experience with digital paid and non-paid marketing, direct mail, and spatial data is a plus. 
  • Project Management: Understand how to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively and load balance team capacity with changing priorities. 
  • Tackle complex problems: Drawing inferences from data, and using analytic skills to identify solutions and deliver results. You also help set up and measure marketing tests. You communicate clearly with non technical stakeholders the methodology, outcome and data nuances that may exist. 
  • Mentor a team of analysts: and guide their work to deliver best-in-class analytics for the business. You help analysts grow to reach their peak performance while keeping it fun. 
  • Data: Data is your element, you live and breathe it. Own and maintain third party data sources that drive lead generation for the Sales team. Develop new data pipelines for reporting as well as maintaining existing data pipelines for our CRM platform. 

Skills you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years proven analytics experience with a focus on sales & marketing analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • 3+ years SQL experience
  • 2+ years leading and growing an analytics team
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker or Tableau
  • Bonus points for:
    • Familiarity with Python and/or R programming languages
    • Experience working with direct mail campaigns and an understanding of list generation methodologies
    • Experience building advanced statistical/machine learning models on marketing data
    • Experience with multi touch attribution models
    • Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or comparable field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY
