Color is looking for an Operational Strategy & Advanced Analytics Associate to help drive strategic and operational projects to solidify Color’s infrastructure as we venture into new business lines and expand our footprint. 

You will work independently to support the development and implementation of new processes, tools, and continuous improvement programs for our Operational teams. You will own projects from start to finish, working closely with GTM, Product, Analytics, and Operations teammates, and will help drive internal alignment for key strategic initiatives across the company. Your work will have a direct impact on people’s lives, while ensuring the operations team is optimized and streamlined.

How You'll Contribute:

    • Define and evaluate project scope and objectives for new initiatives that will drive Color’s ability to scale effectively, in close partnership with key operational stakeholders
    • Translate larger program strategy into individual projects that you can independently drive to completion
    • Design and implement tools for data visualization and reporting solutions to support data analysis, including calculation of metrics, and detection of trends
    • Design and implement high-quality, efficient, standardized processes for new services
    • Drive cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop creative solutions for some of the most complex issues in healthcare today, including developing new and efficient ways to implement health products and services.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization about project strategy, changes, and progress

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • 3+ years of work experience in management consulting, business intelligence, BizOps, finance, or equivalent experience
    • Highly organized and capable of complex task and time management 
    • Strong communication skills across a wide variety of functions and specialties
    • Demonstrated ability to capture, track and execute detailed individual tasks, as well as perform high level prioritization and strategic thinking for large-scale cross-functional programs
    • Experience with Business Visualization toolkits (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Tableau, etc.)
    • Proficiency in SQL and / or advanced Excel modeling is required, and familiarity with NoSQL data stores is a plus
    • Experience leading cross-functional efforts and driving internal alignment
    • Ability to translate business needs into compelling visualizations of KPI trends through iterative design sessions and wireframing
    • Ability to define and evaluate operational problems and recommend solutions in close partnership with key internal stakeholders
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels across the organization

Nice to Have:

    • Experience in management consulting and/or tech startups.
    • Experience in healthcare or adjacent field
    • Familiar with tools such as Jira, Looker, Figma, and Airtable

Possible Projects To Contribute To:

    • Co-define and manage the building of dashboards to monitor operational efficiency, financial wellness, and people metrics for Color’s teams, to enable data-driven decision-making
    • Contribute to operational strategy and rollout of new business ideas and pilots, in close collaboration with GTM and Product, creating playbooks for scalability
    • Own special projects related to Color’s most exciting new capabilities
