We are looking for someone to join our Total Rewards team to help tackle some of the exciting people analytics challenges of operating in a fast paced, cutting edge industry at the intersection of distributed healthcare and technology. 
 
The goal of this role would be to expand the People Analytics team’s ability to perform more complex advanced analytics, as well as partnering with the Total Rewards team on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new compensation programs. On top of this we are working on understanding how we can better engage our employees, increase retention, and ensure our workforce is diverse and inclusive.
 
The People Analytics Analyst role is focused on helping the business draw actionable insights that enable them to understand, engage with and optimize the workforce at Color.  The role will also help conduct analysis on the company’s total rewards and compensation program to ensure we are competitively positioned in the market.  They will work closely with People Operations, Recruiting, the Business and Technology teams to identify and facilitate the implementation of data/reporting solutions that enable data driven decisions. The role will become a go-to resource for compensation analytics, adjustments, and market insight.

How You’ll Contribute:

    • Work with the business to understand how People data can be leveraged to meet a business need.
    • Translate business questions into analytic hypotheses, data needs, and reporting requirements.
    • Conduct initial analysis to help the business validate and define data requirements (attributes, format, structure) for a variety of People Operations projects
    • Identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analysis
    • Provide ad-hoc or special project data analysis that enables the People team to achieve their goals, drive decision making and create new strategies where necessary
    • Manage projects such as survey participation, HRIS system needs, salary structure maintenance, and modeling of rewards outcomes for Color employees
    • Work with People Operations and Total Rewards teams to design, model, backtest, and implement compensation structures such as annual cash bonuses and equity programs
    • Support the day-to-day function of the Total Rewards team in terms of market pricing, offer negotiations, and communication of new program implementations
    • Assist in driving core total rewards and compensation cycles including: level review, input spreadsheets, HRIS implementation, compensation module set up/maintenance, and other compensation analytics.
    • Build dashboards/reporting that allows trends to be easily identified and track progress towards goals
    • Depending on key initiatives that the business determines is the most important to focus on analysis may touch on:
    • HR Topics: Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Movement (Hires, Promotions, Demotions, Terminations). 
    • Business Areas: Operations, Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, People, Finance

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • BA/BS/Masters in Business, Economics, or other operations focused areas
    • At least need 3+ years of experience in an data analytics role
    • Experience developing people metrics
    • Experience developing SQL models, automating processes with Python, leveraging BI tools for analytics (Looker preferred)
    • Detail orientation and a high degree of organization skills
    • Presentation skills - you have the ability to tell a meaningful story with a few key slides
    • Curiosity - A craving for innovation, working in creative environments, and constantly looking to challenge the status quo
