About the role
Zillow Group is looking for a Revenue Analyst to join the Finance Shared Services team! This role will work across various functions and levels to deliver financial visibility and equip stakeholders with the financial information necessary to make critical business decisions. This person must be ambitious, a team player, and passionate about helping others to tackle problems and identify efficiencies through technology, reporting, and data.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver reporting on various types of data within Finance (Revenue Accounting, Payments, Accounts Receivable and Financial Planning).
- Maintain existing key reporting, metrics and dashboards within Domo.
- Build insightful, automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key metrics and trends for Finance Leaders and end-users across the organization.
- Maintain working knowledge of the various revenue and payment systems.
- Coordinate with our Financial Technology team regarding new systems and support.
- Provide support as needed for buildout and maintenance of our enterprise data warehouse.
- Provide support to Finance Management and other internal customers as needed, including ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Who you are
- Capable of working and communicating with fast-paced, dynamic teams while maintaining keen attention to detail
- Problem solver who is deeply analytical and has an eye for data visualization.
- Knowledgeable in GAAP, revenue recognition, payment standards and standard operational accounting processes.
- Familiar with financial programs and systems (preferably SAAS based); previous experience with Workday and Zuora a plus.
- Experience working with Tableau, Domo, or equivalent data visualization tool.
- Familiar with database structures, data mapping, and SQL. Prior experience with Snowflake a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or other related field and 1-2 years of reporting, metrics or analytics experience.
- Experience working for a financial application software vendor or partner in a support or consulting role a plus.
