We are seeking an experienced leader in applied data science and machine learning to join a growing team focused on applying quantitative methods (ranging from statistics/econometrics to ML/AI) to produce real estate market intelligence. As a Senior Manager, you'll be spearheading our efforts in researching and implementing new models that measure the housing economy. You will be crafting a high resolution picture of housing market activity from the national all the way down to below neighborhood level! This is a high visibility and impact position for someone who loves to see the output of their data pipelines and models to be used for strategic decisions.

You will manage a team of data and applied scientists to:

  • Develop novel methodologies to summarize the housing market at a regional level, using data from our database of 100M+ homes, transactions, and users (think nowcasting, time series modeling, hierarchical modeling, clustering etc.)
  • Identify and curate new data sources (both internal and external) that can help improve our housing market indicators
  • Write whitepapers and methodology briefs on how our housing data and models can improve decision-making
  • Create diagnostic and suppression models to ensure data quality at scale (over millions of models for different geographies/home type cuts)
  • Create vision for our data products suite
  • Work closely with our engineering team to productionalize models
