Zendesk’s People & Places team is looking for a Senior Analyst, People Analytics! Who might you be? You are genuine, listen to your customers and provide insights and analytics to help derive data-informed decisions. You consistently strive to make the people around you better by providing insight into things that were previously unknown. You're a true partner for your internal customers. Success in this role looks like this: you will come in and identify opportunities to build upon the foundation of our analytics program. You will drive the story from inception to design to deliver innovative solutions. You have a particular interest in demonstrating your analytics skills to help drive a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. This position is fully Remote and reports to the Senior Manager, People Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain analytics and dashboards for people metrics (e.g., attrition, diversity representation)

  • Conduct analyses that identify insights into underlying business matters

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to partners up to the executive level through a thoughtful combination of quantitative analyses and qualitative storytelling

  • Build relationships with internal People & Places partners and key leaders in the business to provide analytics support on People-related topics across the business

  • Demonstrate good judgement and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data

  • Collaborate closely with other analysts to build comprehensive business solutions

  • Contribute to the enablement of a data-driven culture in People & Places

  • Work directly with our VP of DE&I to build analytics and visualizations that uncover insights and opportunities for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years relevant experience in data collection, mining and quantitative analysis

  • 4+ years experience in HR analytics including building, configuring, customizing, and implementing reports and dashboards.

  • Bachelor's degree in related function strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau (preferred). Experience with Workday HRIS is a plus.

  • Experience with statistical modeling (including working with scripting and query languages such as R, Python, and SQL) and predictive analytics is preferred

  • Ability to understand and arrange large data sets that produce insights with people data

  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and can work independently

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with capability to work with all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects requiring organizational and great time-management skills
