What we’re looking for:

Zendesk is seeking a Sr. Marketing Data Analyst, Web to join the Growth Marketing team We are looking for a Web Analytics strong performer that can lead the strategy, implementation, and management of web data quality initiatives and processes to ensure optimal metrics for all website interactions! You’ll lay a foundation of operational efficiency to enable our fast-paced team to accomplish our goals.

Responsibilities:

Own web data quality by defining processes and partnering with the web team to ensure compliance

Help answer ad-hoc big (and small) questions by analyzing web data from any and all channels and sources that drive the leads, pipeline, and bookings

Use your visual and logical creativity to design and build insightful dashboards and reports for teams to stay on top of their KPIs and initiatives

Own and maintain our Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web-tracking tools for data accuracy

Implement and manage QA process to ensure that tracking of performance metrics is in place for all new/updated web properties

Continuously improve web operations and data strategy by monitoring web performance, and identifying new trends or potential issues

Balance requests from partners by prioritizing the needs of the business

Desired Skills and Experience:

BS/BA degree in business, statistics, economics, or related degree OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, data analytics, business intelligence, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable providing recommendations with confidence to senior level partners

Expertise with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and peripheral systems for web data management

Intermediate SQL query writing and previous exposure to manipulating data in a warehouse (e.g. BigQuery, MySQL)

Experience with data curation through Excel functions, as well as BI tools (e.g. Tableau)

Familiarity with web metrics, funnel reporting, and the channel drivers of web volume (e.g. SEO, advertising)

Strong intellectual curiosity combined with a skill for recognizing correlations, trends, and statistical irregularities

Talent for translating data into easy-to-understand, significant insights
