AG is looking for an experienced Senior Visualization Analyst who is passionate about creating compelling and innovative data visualizations to enable marketing partners to identify, understand trends, patterns and outliers across an array of key performance indicators. This role will directly support our Digital and Media Growth Marketing Teams. This is our largest, highest funded, and most critical growth area for our company. You will be responsible for building visualizations which are automated, interactive, actionable and accurate to help business partners improve the pace and quality of day-to-day decision making. You will be challenged to convert our many ongoing channel investments and tests into easy to understand visualizations that make it easy for the company to manage this level of marketing spend. This position may also be asked to support other projects on an ad hoc basis.

The Senior Visualization Analyst will be viewed as a tableau SME and should be proficient in manipulating data using SQL in a cloud environment. Ideally the candidate will have a strong understanding of performance marketing reporting and consumer data as well as strong communication and demonstrated data storytelling skills.   • Work closely with the digital and media marketing team to define and document business logic (requirements) and data definitions to ensure shared understanding.
  • Design, create, and operationalize business logic into source of truth data models in Enterprise Data Warehouse and surface them through self-service BI tools.
  • Create complex yet elegant reports and dashboards that enable the marketing team to drill in and out to understand their marketing spend and their channel performance.
  • Enable digital teams with self-service capabilities through publishing and maintaining curated data sources and developing automated reports/dashboards in Tableau.
  • Manage ad-hoc data requests from internal business partners, calculating all of our metrics/kpis in a timely manner to identify what can be automated, or develop self-service tools for these types of requests.
  • Develop SQL to aggregate and explore data from multiple datasets to understand the possibilities and limitations within our data sets.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on various projects to gather requirements, document plans, collect feedback, execute, and present deliverables to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally with other members of the data team to support data engineering, digital analytics, testing, data modeling, data visualization, retention analytics, customer insights/market research, data science/machine learning, etc.
  • Troubleshoot both independently and collaboratively with others, such as live development sessions and coding sessions, to solve problems and work on projects with the broader team
  • Brainstorm creative solutions to exploratory projects built around ambiguity, including running analysis to identify problems, understand root cause of trends, provide actionable insights and recommend solutions.


  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, BI or data insights roles, preferably in a direct-to-consumer, e-commerce or SaaS business.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners to document key business needs into a clearly defined requirements document and project plan.
  • Experience developing operational reports and data visualizations for digital marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing, CRM, social and ad platforms, such as Salesforce, Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others. Experience with partnership and affiliate marketing is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data in cloud-based environments, including BigQuery, Snowflake, RedShift, etc.
  • Proven skills in distilling complex topics into easy to understand data visualizations. Advanced Tableau data visualization skills preferred.
  • Ability to be a self starter and work independently.
  • Comfortable navigating large datasets, acquiring and cleansing data from multiple sources.
  • Deep experience data modeling and performing SQL-based data transformation to support reporting and analytic needs.
  • Familiarity with B2C acquisition and subscription marketing concepts and metrics, including customer journeys, conversion funnels and critical reporting (acquisition, CAC, payback, retention rate, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.

AG is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $67,000 - $91,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
