The Challenge:

As a Data Engineering Lead on our team, you’ll use your software development, cloud architecture, and analytics to design and implement efficient data platform solutions, including developing from the ground up, migrating existing on prem environments into the cloud, and optimizing and driving efficiency from complex hybrid environments. You’ll lead efforts and teams to design and build these platforms to improve visibility and insights into an organizations tools and data to effectively secure the enterprise. You will be responsible for effectively communicating the value of operational big data environments, all while working with exciting analytics and protecting the environments of some of the biggest companies in the world.

You’ll work closely with other Capability and Market leaders design solutions that derive value across multiple domain areas for our clients.  As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to help our customers meet their toughest challenges. Join our team as we build solutions to transform the future of data engineering for our clients. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

-7+ years of experience with big data application design and deployments

-5+ years of experience designing solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

-5+ years of experience programming in Java, Python, or C#

-Experience with design and implementation of complex systems involving data storage, movement, and data science

-Experience with distributed message queues, including Kafka

-Experience with designing loosely coupled architectures

-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience conducting interviews and identifying strong candidates

-Experience optimizing data pipelines to reduce costs, data volumes, or reduce query times

-Ability to write and maintain serverless code, including Azure functions and AWS Lambda

-Ability to collaborate with others effectively and lead teams

-Ability to cross collaborate with other market and sales teams to capture new work

-Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
