Power BI Data Visualization Specialist
Key Role:
Develop, implement, and support the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment, and usage. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Power BI data visualization, including with connectivity to Databricks Lakehouse platform, and Synapse Azure Analytics service
Knowledge of DAX queries and functions in Power BI, SQL, multi-dimensional data modeling, and data security, including row-level security and data sensitivity
Ability to build data visualizations with big data from a data Lakehouse
Ability to design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights while also working with data engineers to create performant models and data aggregations
Ability to present findings from visualizations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Public Trust
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with connecting Oracle and Amazon Web Services connections to Power BI
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Ability to make essential strategic and technical improvements
Knowledge of how Power BI fits into the larger Power Apps ecosystem
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
