Cloud Data Architect

The Opportunity:

For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a cloud data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for health, regulatory, and other civil agencies.

As a cloud data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design and deliver solutions to solve some of our nation's biggest public health challenges using cloud-based big data and analytic platforms. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and forward-leaning customers by providing insight on data warehousing, cloud computing, data pipelining, and service delivery strategies, often getting the chance to "get your hands dirty" by providing development and integration delivery support. In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use AWS and Azure data pipelining and management services to implement data onboarding, transformation, storage, access, security, and analysis capabilities. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. With your drive to establish processes and lead technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on the way our nation manages, regulates, and delivers healthcare and health-related technologies.
