Role Description

As a Compensation Analyst, you will focus on compensation delivery initiatives (new hire compensation packages, merit planning, benchmarking, etc.) to support Dropbox's growing employee population. You will be analyzing data, administering pay programs, and collaborating with our Compensation Business Partners to put together recommendations for our business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and operational support to senior members of the compensation team. Areas of support may include equity and executive compensation programs, compensation operations & programs, vendor management and procurement, or business partnering
  • Provide Tier 1 compensation support to employees and business partners, primarily utilizing the ServiceNow ticketing platform
  • Conduct job analysis and market price new roles or existing roles in new locations for assigned job functions
  • Conduct annual and ad hoc market analysis to distill insights, convey findings to senior team members
  • Develop external and internal offer packages based on comp policies
  • Regular administration and maintenance of compensation dashboards
  • Document and analyze existing processes and policies, partnering with the team on refinements; make recommendations to improve process efficiency
  • Audit various data sets on a regular and ad-hoc basis and work with internal partners on any corrections; owns comp related tables in Workday
  • Participate in salary surveys, conducting external market pricing and preparing pricing analyses and reports
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for Stock Committee and Compensation Committee meetings 
  • Assist with administration of annual compensation review processes, including base salary merit increases, bonuses, and equity grants
  • Assist with preparing training and communication materials; ensure training and comms materials are up to date
  • Analyze and monitor equity budget spend under the guidance of senior team members
  • Perform ad hoc project and program analysis as needed. 

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, quantitative-focused major preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation or HR field, preferably within the technology industry or HR consulting firm
  • Advanced Excel skills, data modeling skills, and process documentation skills (interview process will include an Excel test)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Great attitude - will power through with some tedious work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Experience in compensation or analytics
  • Technical aptitude i.e, Excel proficiency
