As a data analyst senior on the Telematics Marketing team, you’ll help bring to market and enhance our Snapshot® products, which rely on customers' actual driving to help determine their insurance price.  You'll do this by ensuring our product filings with state departments of insurance are timely and accurate and by responding to regulatory questions.  You'll also analyze changes to our product to determine what's working and how we can improve business results.  This is a fast-paced, ever evolving workspace that is highly collaborative both with other members of the telematics team and with partners throughout the company including state product managers, pricing, IT, legal, CRM, agency marketing, and direct acquisition.  Remote work allowed.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills

  • Basic to intermediate Python or R or SQL programming skills including the ability to create basic programs
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in an adaptive, team-oriented environment
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel – including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets – including vlookup, tables, charts and graphing
  • Knowledge of auto insurance pricing and products a plus, but not required
  • Database experience including the ability to create tables and visualizations for reports and presentations. (ex. Tableau, PowerPoint graphs)

Compensation

  • $66,300 - $88,400/year 
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
