Data Analyst Senior

As a Data Analyst Senior on the Agency Analytics team you'll support the Operations Monitoring agenda. You'll play a critical role in developing new insights to help optimize our approximately 300 sales resources across approximately 90,000 agents to drive profitable growth of our over  $15B portfolio in all states.  This role will play a significant role in Agency Distribution’s growth strategy, with an increased focus on high potential/low market share agents.  Several of your key initiatives will include setting annual sales job objectives, salesforce opportunity management, and auto/property bundling and cross selling. Our goal is to develop and maintain a consistent data-driven approach to monitoring and analyzing agency performance, ultimately developing rules for best practice for the field sales organization. You'll focus (monthly) on an in-depth analysis of production and activity trends along with root cause analysis, identification of internal/external drivers and impact assessment. This role has significant exposure to Senior Leadership in Agency. Remote work allowed.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills

  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal with the ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations to leadership and employee groups.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL, Intermediate proficiency in SAS or R programming.  Knowledge of Github preferred but not required.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
  • Ability to drive insights and tell stories utilizing data from multiple sources. 
  • Demonstrated application of statistical analysis in creating recommendations and identifying next steps.

Compensation

  • $66,300 - $88,400/yearly
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
