Data Governance Analyst Senior

As a data governance analyst senior in the Information Technology Organization, you’ll execute the enterprise data governance & data quality agenda. Our goal is to stay at the forefront of data and analytics in order to deliver innovative solutions to organize our data, making it accessible and useful across our business areas to drive enterprise business value. You’ll drive the strategic direction and maturity of data governance & quality practice along with aligning and influencing our data strategy. This is a highly collaborative role across all business units. You’ll play an active role and lead efforts to build a strong data foundation and enable our workers to effectively utilize data in deriving business insights. Remote work allowed.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills

  • Exposure to metadata management processes and concepts, including data glossaries/catalogs and profiling
  • Experience performing data quality and/or data profiling with Profisee and Collibra tools
  • Experience with programming languages (SQL and Python) 
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office – such as PowerPoint and Excel - with advanced skills in spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros 
  • Ability to work successfully with cross functional teams across a matrixed organization with the ability to influence and build strong relationship

Compensation

  • $66,300 - $88,400/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings; Progressive rewards each of us with an annual bonus based on company performance
