Data Architect, Lead

We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for criminal justice.

As a data architect on our criminal justice team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for bid data analytics. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development.

In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to design databases, data models, and ETL processes. You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:   

• 10+ years of experience in the disciplines associated with data analytics
• 5+ years of experience with working closely with business and IT groups to coordinate current and future plans and activities, including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific data analytics
• 5+ years of experience with possessing and applying comprehensive knowledge across multiple fields, key tasks components, and high impact assignments
• 5+ years of experience with developing plans and leading major consulting assignments, including data analytics with machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Knowledge of analytical and statistical language, including Closure, Scala, Python, or R
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
