Data Governance Lead, Senior

Key Role:

Utilizes expertise as a data professional to help clients in developing and maintaining their data and information technology procedures. Develops and implements data governance procedures, rolls out data sharing guidelines, and identifies the best tools to be used. Provides support for audits of data stewardship or data usage activities. Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, utilizes industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. Learn from a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced and Agile environment. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing Data Governance programs, including developing data governance frameworks, and providing governance process recommendations to clients

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Stewardship and usage activities and data policy or data governance audits

  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Quality

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Integration

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,000 to $157,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
