Data Lifecycle Specialist

Key Role:

Develops, implements, and assesses specific new and emerging data technologies, platforms, and services. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise and utilizes industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members. Realizes the importance of establishing the process for data lifecycle management at the enterprise level to track and make data accessible. Work with clients to establish and maintain data lifecycle activities. Use your skills to automate cataloging of metadata into the enterprise data catalog and provide support to increase adoption by the development and establishment of process and materials to ensure consistent and standardized use of data cataloging. Learn from a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in defining and recommending Data Management and cataloging processes, platform or tool selections, and application integration options to clients

  • 1+ years of experience with data lifecycle management tools

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Alation and Collibra

  • Knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Integration

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,400 to $176,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees
