Data Quality Tester

Key Role:

Perform data quality testing, report on test findings, identify recommendations to improve data quality, and assist is addressing and fixing data quality issues. Apply business rules and understanding of data decision-making concepts to properly design test cases and execute them. Work with a highly dynamic team, executing in an Agile program environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with end-to-end testing, including designing and executing test cases

  • 5+ years of experience writing and executing front-end web application test plans and test cases, UAT, system testing, regression testing, and stress testing

  • 5+ years of experience with testing approaches and concepts, quality management, testing tools, software configuration management, issues management, and requirements analysis and documentation

  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis

  • 2+ years of experience with data management or data integration, including building reports and queries using Relational Databases, SQL, developing data flow diagrams, or reading data architecture documentation

  • 2+ years of experience performing comparative analysis and reviewing and analyzing log results

  • Experience with a business intelligence tool, including Tableau, Power BI, or Esri ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Experience with an Agile development team and framework, including use of Atlassian Suite, such as JIRA or Confluence

  • DHS Suitability

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in writing, updating, and revising user guides, SOPs, and other process related documents

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

  • Knowledge of human capital, asset management, financial management, or contracts administration

  • Knowledge of data warehousing best practices, big data environments, or cloud technologies

  • Ability to convey complex, technical information in clear and concise ways to multiple audiences, including executive-level stakeholders

  • Ability to document business rules and impacted processes or systems, and functional and technical specifications using process flows, epics, and user stories, Agile tools, UX artifacts, or use cases

  • Master's degree in Communications, Systems Information, Business Administration, Computer Science, Political Science, or Change Management

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; DHS suitability is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
