Role Description

The People Analytics team has grown alongside with Dropbox to help our leaders make more informed decisions on identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining top level talent. Dropbox’s People Analytics team is looking for a Manager of Analytics Business Partnership with a track record of leading projects, coaching analysts, and supporting stakeholders across HR and Recruiting teams. This role will play a critical part in providing insights and data-driven recommendations to support our HR and Recruiting sub teams, while leading and managing a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR and Recruiting senior stakeholders, acting as their strategic partner in leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve business outcomes
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 3 analysts, responsible for delivering insights, data analysis, and reporting to client groups across Dropbox
  • Collaborate with other People Analytics team members to ensure alignment of analytical initiatives and a consistent approach to data management and analysis
  • Drive the prioritization, scoping, and execution of analytics projects that support HR and Recruiting sub teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Develop and implement scalable processes, tools, and methodologies that enable the efficient and effective delivery of analytics services to Dropbox
  • Proactively identify opportunities for leveraging data and analytics to drive improvements in HR and Recruiting processes and practices
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of HR and Recruiting data, adhering to relevant data privacy and security policies and regulations
  • Continually expand knowledge of HR and Recruiting trends, best practices, and technology solutions to support the continuous improvement of the People Analytics function

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Psychology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis across both HR and Recruiting analytics initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders and effectively influence decision-making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring analysts, with a strong track record of developing talent and driving performance
  • Deep understanding of HR and Recruiting processes, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
  • Humble attitude with a willingness to shift from high-level strategic thinking to stepping in and helping to drive execution alongside analytics, HR, and Recruiting teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MA/MS in a related research or data science field (Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Marketing Research, Computer Science, Social Sciences (e.g., Anthropology, Sociology)
  • Track record of successfully managing teams of analytics consultants or business partners
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Visier, Power BI) and experience with HR and Recruiting systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday)
  • Proficiency in querying and navigating data warehouses and advising data engineers on data models and structure, system integrations
