We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst focused on providing deep data analytical insights and applying machine learning techniques to drive conversion optimization and customer personalization across all channels and all products, including being a part of the founding team to shape our new products. This is a full time, permanent position with upward mobility and competitive benefits. Ideal candidate should have a high sense of urgency, a creative mind, great communication, a strong quantitative background and data mining skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will leverage your strong data analytical and data science skill to help optimize digital channel ROI and customer conversion across all marketing channels and all products:
- Conduct A/B experimental testing impact analysis as well as a variety of ad-hoc analyses to make business recommendations for funnel conversion optimization for each channel and product/multi-product platform
- Through analyzing our rich internal data, discover growth/expansion opportunities and drive new initiatives that benefit the business partnering with Marketing, Credit, and Decision Sciences teams
- Leverage machine learning technique (e.g., feature engineering, feature selection, model training, etc.) to understand and serve our customers better: customer engagement and segmentation, preference prediction, and life-time value prediction, etc.
- Evaluate the direct impact and indirect/long-term impact from digital marketing campaigns to make insightful recommendations on targeting strategy optimization
- Assist in maintaining BI reporting and monitoring funnel conversion performance across all channels and products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Data Science or other quantitative major required. Graduate School Degree is preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Intermediate to advance experience with MS excel and SQL server
- Intermediate to advance experience in data mining, data analysis, and machine learning modeling in Python/R
- Experience with BI and digital reporting tool such as Power BI, Adobe Analytics
- Previous experience in digital marketing is preferred
- Previous experience in finance industry is preferred
- Previous experience in social media or internet forum is preferred
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
