The Marketing Data Engineer/BI Analytics will report to the Director of Marketing and will support the
marketing operation in growing both the Best Egg customer base and loan originations in channels
including Direct Mail, Email, Paid Search, Social, and Display. The Marketing Data Engineer/BI
Analytic will help to build the marketing data operation process to reduce redundancy, improve
efficiency, and better support multi-product marketing strategy execution. Will also support marketing
data and BI functions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop best in class BI functions to monitor the health of current data operation process
- Perform data audits for data integrity and accuracy
- Implement and maintain existing operation processes/reports to track campaign performance
- Enhancement and troubleshooting all the production incidents
- Automate marketing data process to maximize performance
Requirements and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Finance or related skill set
- Prior Data Engineering experience preferred
- 5+ years working experience with data management
- Excellent SQL knowledge
- 2+ years working in a Snowflake or RedShift data environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Capacity to prioritize and juggle projects simultaneously in an extremely fast-paced working environment with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm.
- Flexible and able to react professionally and efficiently to changes in schedules or project direction without sacrificing quality
- Exhibits a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Passion for delivering consistently high-quality work on schedule
