Marlette is seeking a Secured Loan Strategy Analyst to develop, optimize, and analyzes strategies within the Application Servicing and Verifications lines of business for our Secured Loan offerings.

You will be accountable for designing, testing and implementing strategies to maximize conversion and verification rates in order to drive step-change growth across our Secured product line. Additionally, you will identify areas for opportunity to streamline current processes and introduce new tools to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce operating expense.

As a strategy analyst you will work with the Operations leadership team to present strategy effectiveness, analyze trends, and build meaningful MI to drive growth, performance, reduce expense, and mitigate risk. Your creative thinking and problem-solving skills will be used to drill down on high-level requirements to develop and implement strategic initiatives.  Additionally, you will have the pleasure of working directly with internal and external technology teams to relay business requirements, outline desired results, and review success metrics.
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong command of analytical programming languages to the table in either SAS or SQL.  Also, it will be beneficial to have prior contact center experience, including experience with multi-channel contact tools and IVR so that you can bring ideas to optimize Secured Loan Application Servicing and Verifications strategy within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities

    • Perform analyses to measure performance & identify trends within Application Servicing and Verifications.
    • Design effective outbound multi-channel contact strategies to maximize contact rates, increase conversion, and drive growth across multiple product lines.
    • Understand the existing test/control strategies, monitor the performance, and share findings with various stakeholders.
    • Introduce new tools and strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce customer friction while mitigating fraud risk.
    • Own IVR and other self-service channel experience for Application Servicing and Verifications.
    • Draft technical requirements and serve as subject matter expert for Operations Strategy.
    • Cultivate good working relationships with other business units, particularly Implementation/Tech, Credit, and Decision Science.
    • Perform ad-hoc analytics, create reporting and presentations.

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in a similar analytical role
    • 3+ years of SAS, SQL, or other analytical programming languages
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
    • Experience in reading and understanding data trends
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Experience in analyzing operational data & metrics preferred
    • Financial Services experience is a plus

    • Ability to work independently to identify and fix process failures
