As a mid-level marketing data analyst on the Commercial Lines Agency Communications team, you’ll work with a highly skilled, driven, and dynamic team on the optimization of our marketing communications and campaigns to best meet the business goals of the organization. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage the wealth of data and resources available to us to both creatively identify opportunities and test new approaches for our network of Progressive agents, sales reps, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing business specific marketing analysis by conducting research, identifying trends, and applying problem solving techniques. Under moderate supervision you could expect to handle larger projects independently, collaborating with your manager to solve complex issues. Based in Cleveland, OH. Remote work allowed.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year of analytical work experience
- Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
- Instead of a degree, a minimum of four years of analytical work experience
Preferred skills
- Ability to creatively mine data for trends and anomalies and to report out on opportunities, including proven aptitude for using data analysis reporting tools such as Tableau
- Knowledge of large data concepts, practices, and terminology
- Basic to intermediate SAS, R, Python, or SQL programming skills including the ability to create basic programs; basic knowledge of UI type data like Google Analytics preferred
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel, including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets (v-look-up, tables, charts, graphing, etc.)
- Proven aptitude for learning, working, and communicating in an adaptive, team-oriented environment.
Compensation
- $54,800-$73,100/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
