The team operates like a close knit startup with product and technology collaborating closely together, engineers possessing vision and big thinking skills by meeting with stakeholders and scoping requirements in addition to working with latest opensource based tech stacks.

The Flexible Rent team at Best Egg is looking for someone with analytical skills who enjoys fast-paced environments and solving complex problems. If the answer isn't obvious, that should make you excited to figure it out and tell your teammates once you do. You'll partner with Product, Growth, Customer Success, and Engineering to build and optimize internal data systems, delivering data-driven solutions and reports.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your deep understanding of analytics and statistics to derive insights from
- Flexible Rent data in the form of both standalone dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
- Create tools that enable internal stakeholders to solve everyday problems by leveraging thoughtfully presented data
- Partner with the leadership team to define and design KPI reporting that inform product and business decisions
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey to deliver a world-class user experience
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve data quality and architecture
About You
- Motivated to improve credit access for millions of renters in the US
- A desire to learn and grow
- A team-first mentality, the willingness to do what needs to be done to achieve goals
- Enjoy telling stories through data, pay close attention to detail, and biased toward action-oriented findings
- Find genuine enjoyment from solving complex problems that lack an obvious solution
- A critical thinker who complements it with strong quantitative analysis
- Enjoy writing and presenting your analyses for the rest of the team
- Likely on a career path in Product, Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics,
- Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- Fluency in SQL
- Experience with at least one BI tool, such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Mode
- Fluency in either R or Python for advanced analysis
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams
- Experience building internal tools
- Experience/interest in regression analysis and machine learning techniques
- Experience/interest in interacting with APIs

In addition to semi-monthly salary payments, this position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance. Base salary 90,000 - 100,000 annual bonus target 10% of base.
