As a Data Scientist on the GoPuff Experimentation team, you’ll build and deploy models for important use-cases within warehouse and operations - including supply chain planning, operations optimization, and driver resource management. You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the future success of GoPuff.

Responsibilities
- Build and support an internal A/B testing experimentation platform
- Administer experiments and establish experimentation best practices for the entire organization
- Work with product managers and project leads to design experiments and determine key measurements.
- Partner with Analytics team members and other functions to share experiment insights and become a key stakeholder for experiment analytics
- Collaborate with our business and engineering partners across the organization to deliver data science solutions for practical business problems.
- Productionize and deploy models using cloud based tech stacks including Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Ecosystems and etc.
- Drive adoption of data products and data science solutions into the planning process for investment decisions with finance and the leadership teams
- Identify gaps in existing data, create data product specs, and work with Engineering teams to implement enhanced data tracking
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data science and A/B testing experiments. Experience building internal A/B testing platforms preferred.
- MS or PhD in statistics, mathematics, analytics, computer science, engineering or another quantitative field
- Strong background in statistics, hypothesis testing, and measurement
- Hands-on experience applying descriptive statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and visualization techniques to solve challenging business problems
- Expert programming skills in Python or a general programming language
- Data querying skills in SQL
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to business stakeholders
- Experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, PeriscopeData
