As a Product Manager on Gopuff's Data Platform Team, you'll be responsible for facilitating key stakeholder and engineering-related engagements to optimize the reach and impact of datasets and reporting at Gopuff. This role will be expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence how new data-related feature requests are shaped in our product backlog and defined in accordance with key initiatives or evolving needs of the business, both at an enterprise level and for each individual business unit, dictating the overall strategic roadmap that makes data actionable for our internal business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is an experienced data product owner with deep empathy and knowledge of the needs of the Data Analyst, and has built roadmaps for central services that juggle the needs of disparate stakeholders. Additionally, this individual should have very strong communication skills across both sides of the development lifecycle (business-facing leaders/analysts as well as technical teams), with a demonstrated ability to be recognized as an empathetic problem solver that won't hesitate to help ideate or innovate.

Responsibilities
- Own and define the vision and roadmap for large, sophisticated data product workstreams (building gold data products to standardize business measurement, enhancing and scaling BI tooling to support self-service analytics, etc.), and data platforms (building tools for software engineers to do self-service data ingestion and transformation
- Communicate and collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development, and other key constituents within the company to ensure that the product offerings address customer requirements and business needs
- Be able to clearly articulate vision, important metrics, opportunities and challenges, and show how their team's work prioritization aligns with those goals and that of the broader data team
- Facilitate requests from a variety of different stakeholders and objectively prioritize teamwork across competing interests and business needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Product Management with a focus on building data products
- Highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience and comfort solving problems in an ambiguous environment where there is constant change.
- Have the tenacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, inspire change, and collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizational partners
- Move fast, be a team player, always be learning and give back
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Experience and strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts, big data technologies, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake and ETL/ELT tools (e.g, Dagster, dbt) preferred.
Compensation:
- Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.

- Salary Range: USD $91,200 - $144,900
- The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
