Join Gopuff as the Sr Manager of Merchandising Analytics & Insights to lead data-driven initiatives that aim to continuously optimize Gopuff’s assortment for customers across North America. As part of the Merchandising organization, you will directly report to the Senior Director of Merch Strategy & Optimization, and work with a wide range of teams across the business such as Category Management, Marketing, Consumer Product, Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations. Responsibilities

    • Identify strategic opportunities, develop hypotheses that optimize Gopuff’s assortment, test them, and use data to rigorously prioritize; You lead the thinking to ensure that customers love every SKU, and that every SKU has earned it’s right to be carried in one of hundreds micro-fulfillment centers  
    • Deliver insights and advanced analytical support to Category Management, Supply Chain and leadership by building scalable tools and dashboards. You will be expected to use SQL and feel comfortable to operate in Snowflake, Looker, and Google Sheets
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to contribute to an evolving portfolio of top priority initiatives that look to offer greater selection to customers while recognizing the constraints of micro-fulfillment centers and licensing requirements 
    • Evaluate the economic and strategic costs/benefits of programs and work with Ops leadership to execute those strategies. 
    • Be a resourceful multi-tasker, supporting teams across the organization. You'll be the go-to person for many key organizational initiatives requiring cross functional collaboration. 

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in Business, Operations, Finance, Economics, Management, or STEM 
    • 6+ years of experience, including 2+ years in investment banking / consulting / strategy and planning or similar 
    • Operating experience at high growth or early stage companies a plus
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel (or Google Suite)
    • Skilled communications proficiency; you can articulate your thoughts and structure data clearly and for audiences across all levels
    • Curious mind - you will be given lots of freedom to explore high impact solutions, and you need to feel comfortable operating with some degree of ambiguity
