Senior Marketing and Product Analyst

This role supports the company at a pivotal point as part of the newly formed Growth Measurement function. Our goal is to create data products and measurement solutions that enable Gopuffs growth teams to understand the effectiveness of their activities and to better invest our resources. 

You will be supporting 2 key groups of stakeholders; our Paid Growth teams and our loyalty product teams; answering key questions about how to grow revenue, better market and optimize our loyalty offering and how we can effectively track and attribute all of the different activities we run across digital marketing with the wider Attribution group at Gopuff.

In this we are looking for someone who is comfortable diving into the technical setup of our measurement solutions all the way through to insight generation. We are a cross functional team of Data Scientists, Analysts and Martech specialists within the wider Growth Analytics team here at Gopuff.

Responsibilities:

    • Prescribes best practices and governance on how we should be tracking different digital marketing activities and the controls around this. 
    • Trains the wider business on adoption of these practices and ensures tracking data quality is kept high.
    • Defines data governance around our tracking data and defines automated solutions for this. 
    • Keeps abreast of industry changes in privacy and data collection and defines impact and solutions with the wider Growth Measurement team. 
    • Identify key trends and build executive-facing dashboards to track the progress of acquisition, monetization, and engagement trends. 
    • Extract actionable insights through analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional customer behavior data sets.
    • Liaise with finance to create area level user forecasts

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced knowledge of most common tracking technologies for attribution including Appsflyer, GTM, GA and/or others.
    • Strong understanding of event data flows for Digital Marketing and surrounding tooling.
    • Strong understanding of tracking links (web and app) and best practices. 
    • Bachelors’ or above in quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    • 3-5 years experience using analytics/data science to drive key business decisions; examples include business/product/marketing analytics, business intelligence, strategy consulting
    • Proven track record of being able to work independently and proactively engage with business stakeholders with minimal direction
    • Significant experience with SQL and large unstructured datasets 
    • Proficiency in programming/scripting and knowledge of statistical packages like R or Python is a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts across a range of stakeholders. 
    • Ownership mentality.
