Summary

The mission of the GBS Risk Adjustment Analytics team is to provide operational and analytical support to our partners, promote sustained revenue growth and management, and improve customer value and affordability for Cigna Medicare. We accomplish this through data driven analytics, strategic actionable insights, and cross-departmental collaboration with our Cigna matrix partners.

This role will be responsible for building advanced reporting tools for Cigna's Medicare Advantage (MA) business segment. Our business segment is searching for the right candidate who has the ability to combine health services and risk adjustment data into sophisticated Tableau reports, delivering insights that will help drive business decisions. This role will also interact with matrix partners, gathering the needed information to consolidate and visualize data, helping drive strategies to optimize business results and improve customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build subject-matter expertise in the array of available data; understand opportunities and limitations of various data sets

  • Partner with MA business teams to understand reporting needs and translate those needs into high-quality Tableau visuals

  • Manipulate and combine a variety of data sources using SQL/Teradata as the foundation of these reports

  • Uncover and articulate stories in the data that will lead to decisions and actions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience and proficiency with Tableau dashboard development

  • Tableau certification is a plus

  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL Query and Teradata skills

  • Experience in health care industry and knowledge of health care data, metrics, and business concepts strongly preferred

  • Ability to translate business needs into practical applications and solutions

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
