What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build relationship with a new client to understand their analytical and reporting needs
  • Guide and influence client on which analytical reports and deliverables will be most actionable and meaningful
  • Showcase the standard stack of reporting capabilities whilst assessing the fit to the new client’s needs and desires
  • Relay enhancements and improvements to the development team
  • Bring to life deliverables and capabilities as set forth in SOW and contracts
  • Partner with various internal counterparts to successfully stand up a new client
  • Disseminate feedback to and coordinate participation from groups within the Analytics team, including actuarial, risk analytics, data science and development
  • Ensure proper ingestion of client data, signing-off on the design and flow of that data
  • Ensure appropriate and sufficient data is collected to fulfill analytical deliverables and facilitate insightful analyses
  • Deliver analytical deliverables required prior to go-live
  • Ensure smooth handoff to client leads as new clients go live

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

  • 3-5 years healthcare experience
  • Experience in an analytical capacity with client-facing responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with medical, pharmacy and ancillary claims data, membership data or other healthcare data
  • Solid technical abilities with data and database manipulation skills, including SQL, Excel, SAS

Finishing Touches (Preferred):

  • Strong client management skills with experience negotiating and comprising on analytical deliverables and requirements
  • Ability to convey the usefulness of reports and analysis to internal and external colleagues who are unfamiliar with data and analytics
  • Understanding of analytical needs; what is feasible and what isn’t feasible given data limitations
  • Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to account for data design / architecture changes
