What You’ll Be Doing:

The Data Management Senior Software Engineer will perform data processing of all information pertaining to Provider, Fee schedules, Member (Eligibility) and Claims data.  This position will be responsible for maintaining multiple databases through the NCH custom software. This position is responsible for the accuracy, efficiency, and retrieval and processing of data into the systems and will assist in gathering and maintaining data for production and non-production environments.

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining custom database management software and related components including schemas, stored procedures, SQL processes, and SSIS/SSRS technologies to manage multiple healthcare databases;
  • Performing periodic, quarterly, and scheduled data loads to support new client implementation processes and Claims system;
  • Developing and deploying custom ETL processes for accurate and efficient data acquisition, processing, and validation;
  • Designing and implementing solutions for metadata, data quality, and data security management;
  • Developing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manual and automated Quality Assurance testing for data-related project requirements; and
  • Developing and maintaining SSRS reporting processes for all Provider, Fee Schedules, Member/Member Eligibility, and Claims datasets;
  • Developing and maintaining tools for automation of adhoc member and provider loads which are currently manual;
  • Develop Web portals to maintain configuration data and healthcare entity data used for new implementations.
  • Develop processes to consume, validate and manipulate HIPAA EDI X12 transactions such as 834

The Experience We Prefer:

  • Strong technical knowledge in SQL processes (including SSIS and Stored Procedures)
  • Strong technical knowledge of MVC
  • Strong technical knowledge in ASP.Net, C# , Webservices API, website development techniques, LINQ Programming and Entity Framework.
  • Strong knowledge on HIPAA X12 transactions such as 834
  • Manages the internal ticketing system for the Data Management team (related to Member eligibility, Provider, Authorization and Claim transactions) and have strong problem-solving skills
  • Supports the new client implementation process by completing any data load tasks, according to the implementation schedule.
  • Performs Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing on data related requirements for projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong experience in SSIS/SSRS/ Power BI technologies
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, operate computer screen for extending periods of time
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $125,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
